I hate giving this book 2 stars because I love Michelle & she inspires me everyday.
I appreciate Michelle & her courageous journey in life - I couldn’t imagine going through half of the things she has - but I just didn’t find her book engaging. I love a story about a woman learning to love herself but I was so disappointed I couldn’t get into it.
I felt like there were random stories thrown into the book to fill it up rather than to add value.
Sorry Michelle. I still love you ❤️

Automatic 5 ⭐️s since this is a memoir.
I follow Michelle on IG and have for a long time now. I'd read her non-fiction title but hadn't gotten around to her memoir, and I'm so glad I finally picked it up! I love her authorial voice, and her story is such an important one. Definitely geared more towards people at the beginning of their body positivity journeys, but still very enjoyable.

Graphic: Medical content, Medical trauma, and Chronic illness

When I first read the title of this book I wasn't really sure if I wanted to read it. I have been following some body positive accounts for a while but didn't"t really come across Michelle's until not long ago. I started reading and wow... She is a real warrior. The fact that she studied the same degree than me and that we both want to help others along with her personal story has made some kind of shift in my mind. It is beautifully written and is a very powerful source of strength. I recommend this book to anyone

This book is amazing, and has helped me more than any self help, confidence or self esteem book I have tried to read, I cried a lot sometimes because of what Michelle went through and a lot because I recognised myself and my feelings in Michelle. I recommend this book to anyone who follows body positivity is trying to learn to accept/love or be themselves it's a truly wonderful book and if I could give it six stars I would
