3.75. Definitely not the strongest of the three but had to see how it unfolded.

I was so excited for the final book but it unfortunately was a let down. I love Modglin's writing but this was a disappointing read. :(

I thought this was a decent wrap up of this crazy series. The cat and mouse type of plot was entertaining and kept me interested, always wanting to see what would happen next. I can’t say there were any big shockers or plot twists in this one, which was a bit disappointing, but I still enjoyed it nevertheless. This whole series just felt very unrealistic and Peter and Ainsley were really getting on my nerves by the middle of the second book, but I still wanted to finish the series since these books are short and quick reads. I would recommend if you’re looking for an entertaining, wild ride and don’t mind a bit of outlandishness.

A great conclusion to this domestic thriller- it was a little crazy at times, but there was never a dull moment. Full of secrets, lies and murder.

This was my least favorite of the 3. I'm glad this book wrapped it up. I do love the characters and it was a fun story.

I wasn't planning on continuing with this series after how that train-wreck of a second book had ended. I actually hated the sequel and it became one of my most disappointing and worst books of 2022. But here we are, reviewing the final book. This series is very easy to get through and they're not very long so I decided to just wrap it up and see how the story would conclude.

And surprisingly, I really liked the ending. Perhaps it's due to the fact that what I wanted to happen did happen and everything that went down in the second book kind of paid off. Don't get me wrong, it's still very over-the-top, ridiculous, and entertaining but the tone and the point of the book is different from the previous two. There's not even a single sex scene in here, which is a breath of fresh air considering the subject matter of the other ones. Its main focus is revenge, and the main characters spent all their time in the book outsmarting one another.
