As far as thrillers go, this one is excellent. Although the protagonist isn't the most likable character, it's still a good book. (usually that is a deal breaker for me) This is my favorite Sager book I've read so far. It's a fast paced whodunit.

I’m typically really good at guessing plot twists, this one however took me completely by surprise. The twist changed everything in the book! I can’t say much without giving it away, but wow. Definitely unexpected. After page 200, I flew through the rest of this book. I HAD to know what happened next. I needed answers.

This book is bizarre. I couldn’t put it down, but I can’t decide if I liked it or not. This was a very interesting read.

I would read it again, so I guess I liked it.

I want to give this 2.5 stars because i enjoyed some of it. I love a good plot twist, but WHAT THE HELL?? This book started off ok, a little slow, got more exciting and really had me guessing at all the possibilities, then abruptly just went absolutely off the rails. The big reveal came completely out of nowhere and it was kind of a letdown. The way there was zero kind of hint or foreshadowing in the first half, then a huge amount of vital information gets dumped on you at once... it wasn't done well. It felt like two very different books of different genres badly stapled together. Then, tacking on more twists at the end just felt so silly and unnecessary. I thought the ending was stupid.

4.5 stars this book started off a little slow I did slightly think to myself how is it so many people speak highly of a book that’s so slow paced .. well I understand why. The building this book did to make the peak of the book with the plot twist left me SPEACHLESS I ate that shit up wooowieeee! Everything fit perfectly and here I was reading along being like oh yep I know who did it moment later I’m narrowing it down like okay their is only like 2 men that could be behind this all two suspects I was WRONG and I loved it I loved how I could not guess who it was in that dam bed who it REALLY was. I fuckn loved this book!!
