Mostly very good. Sudden left turn that violated the understanding of the universe of the story up until that point.

I understand the desperation of Mr. Sager and other writers in the genre at this point. They all need a twist, but with experienced readers, we see it coming. But this one didn't feel fair or right.

Other than that, I enjoyed the characters, setting, and general storyline.

I definitely saw it coming that the husband had killed the 3 girls, but not the part of a soul taking over. As I said above, that seemed unfair, and just didn't belong. All of a sudden there's this supernatural element that gets thrown in.

This book was great and captivating with most unexpected plot twist that is kind of ridiculous and I was left in shock for hours thinking about it. If you just decide to go with it, the story is really good

Okay... wow... there's a lot. I don't know if it's just the sheer fact that I love thrillers or if this was actually amazing. I finished it in less than 24 hours. There were so many dark twists and I had no clue who did it until the end. It had me guessing for sure. Most of the chapters (towards the middle of the book) ended with cliffhangers and I just HAD to finish it.

I would definitely recommend if you're into paranormal thrillers/horror books.

(Also the Taylor Swift references were INSANE for a thriller and the quote was from no body, no crime by Taylor which made me so happy, I can't.)
