This gave me a good perspective in my own relationship with out even knowing it. It helped me see things clear so this nook was hard to reason at times but also good to get insite.

3.5 stars for one reason.

Spoilers ahead

I can look past the one time cheating incident. I hated it and I was so mad on our heroines behalf most of this book, and if he only did it the one time this book would have been a 5 star read.

My issue with this story is that Bennett is beyond in love with Livi, to the point that their love is absolutely epic. I can see him getting black out drunk while they were in the absolute darkest stage of their marriage and making this terrible mistake. I can’t see him continuing a relationship with this girl instead of staying the hell away from her and proving to Livi that it was a one time thing.

It just didn’t make sense with his character. It felt like I was literally reading about two different people.

Forever and Ever

I must admit that this isn’t my topic of choice. Cheating whether fantasy or real life is a hard limit for me, that being said this story was handled as is typical of Q.B. so I’m glad Olivia and Bennett could work out their differences and carry on with their happily ever after.
