This book was my first by Q.B Tyler but OMG it was amazing, the angst, the tension & passion between them was just unbelievable my heart couldn’t take it it was food to my soul the character development was just amazing.

Olivia and Bennett were happly married and in love, but Bennett cheated on Olivia and they are about to get a divorce . Bennett gets into a car accident and forgets the last 2 years of his life meaning their marriage falling apart. He thinks they are dtill as madly in love as they were and they can’t live without each other.
Now Olivia has to tell Bennett what happened in details and he stays with her until he recovers through this they will try to reconcile if it is even a possibility, the way the author shows how Bennett cheated and how he confessed plus how he wanted to fix it was so heartbreaking, and how shocked he is for hurting her in that way, i am not with cheating in real life and in books but thi was done really well, i will for sure read other books by this auther

This book took me on a rollercoaster, and it wasn't necessarily an emotional one, more so a frustrating one.

Here's the thing, I never expected the cheating trope to go hand in hand with the man obsessed trope, but this book was exactly that, and it was kinda depressing.

Olivia and Bennett really just needed therapy, and that's all this book boils down to. Both of them were dealing with grief and had fallen into a depression and they couldn't pull themselves out of it. So, instead, Olivia pushed him away, and he went and sought comfort in another. Both of which were extremely terrible ways to deal with their emotions. However, I have a lot of thoughts.

Firstly, fuck everyone for constantly blaming Olivia for Bennett cheating. Point blank there's never a valid excuse for that and she's allowed to feel her feelings about that. Secondly though, in Bennett's defense, he definitely wasn't of sound mind when he cheated and I don't think that should be ignored either. This man was blackout drunk and in no position to be having sex with anyone.

So yea, to say the plot is messy is an understatement, especially when the man gets amnesia and forgets every terrible turn their marriage took.

But I digress, I actually didn't hate it. I actually really loved Bennett and could definitely feel how deeply he loved Olivia and how much he really did regret everything that he'd done. It's just too bad he didn't remember doing it.

... Until he did. This man was a dumb ass. All the progress they made, and it was all for nothing because he learned nothing. I don't blame Olivia for asking for space (I think she was dumb because obviously we all knew she'd never really leave him, so the space was pointless), but I digress. I think she was completely fair in her request.

But of course, everything works out in the end. They can't live without each other, and they end up with the family they always wanted.

I just wish that Bennett would've told her about getting his memories back. This book had a chance to really solidify their love and trust in the third act, but instead, he fumbled it and thus also fumbled my rating.

3.5 stars! This book was really good! Olivia and Bennett are madly in love with each other, but hard issues in their marriage cause Bennett to make the worst mistake. When Bennett is in an accident that causes him to lose his memory, they get the chance to start over but are unsure if they will ever be able to trust again. I love how much the two main characters loved each other and were fighting for a way to fix their marriage. This book was very steamy. Towards the end, maybe a little too steamy as the intimate scenes were a bit over the top and long, but overall it was definitely a good read.
