Wow this story made me smile, made my cry, made me kick my feet, and so much more! QB will be a forever auto but author for me from now on! And the spice was chefs kiss!

I picked this up on a recommendation from a KU group as I like this trope of amnesia romances. I wish I hadn’t.

I read up until the 12% mark and thought what the hell is going on here..... there was infidelity on both sides (it doesn’t matter if you reach a full happy ending, sex is sex). I wasn’t sure if anything else could make this worse and apparently there is. After looking at some reviews and seeing what else was installed for me, I knew I couldn’t keep reading.

This is my first dnf book in a very long time. I try and give every book a chance. But when people are yelling and screaming at each other, not just the main characters, this is not the escapism I look for in my books.

Update: I’m changing my rating from a 4.5 to a 5/5 because it’s been a year and I still think about this book all the time.

I’ve been wanting to read romance about a couple that’s already together, and going into this I knew this book was about a couple trying to work through things after the husband cheated, which I was fine with I was ready for them to put in a lot of work to fix their marriage and I was ready to root for them but I am so pissed off by how things went down (also excuse potential misspellings of names I listened to the audiobook)

man i am a sucker for a qb tyler book. she is the ultimate slump booster .. you cannot read her book and not fly through it.

this book had the amnesia trope and cheating, so be warned. i personally was on board with both so 🤷🏼‍♀️.

olivia and bennett have been separated for 6 months when bennett gets in an accident and forgets the last two years, believing they are still together.

the spice was spicyyyyyyyy and it felt enough slow burn for me. i think i only have one or two books to read now and i will have finished the entire back catalogue of qb's books!
