the memory loss and generational trauma made this a hard read, but, boy, was it worth it! I wish it was easier to see the magic in the love we already have instead of pining for fiction.

I really liked it. I listened to it with my whole family and its definitely a book I want to read to future kids. Kinda reminded my of E.D. Baker’s novels (which I also love)
