This was such a quick and fun read. I was really surprised by the ending and can't wait to start the next book. Although the main character felt a bit too 'quirky' for my taste, she and all of her friends are great. Jennifer Lynn Barnes never fails to achieve writing a fast paced page turner.

Little White Lies exceeded my expectations. Sawyer is a character you can’t help but care about. She’s funny, relatable, and says exactly what you’re thinking. From page 1 you just need to know what happens next for her. When she enters the world of debutantes, the southern social elite, and family scandal, drama is everywhere and the author throws you into the deep end almost immediately. The family trees and secret schemes are complicated enough to be intriguing but laid out in a way where you can easily follow along.

The author also really captures teen girl relationships. The dialogue between these girls was quick-witted and real. Plus the rebellious nature that ultimately culminates from the pressures of being raised to meet societal expectations was on full display.

The two timelines only added to how gripping the story was and the way they converge? Jaw-dropping.

However, Little White Lies wasn’t quite 5 stars for the sole reason that the last few pages didn’t quite wrap up everything that went down. I guess that’s what a sequel is for ;)

I enjoyed this twisty tale of debutants.  Just be warned that while it answers the original question of the book, it ends quickly with a giant cliffhanger.  I should have known, as I'm waiting to read the third book in another of the author's series.

I quite liked having the two perspectives one starting from different point of time and ending at the same point and how everything was put together and the mystery!
