This is one of those books that breaks you in the best possible way. I had it as an audio book and literally could not stop listening. It starts off as a bit of a slow burn but picks up pace and sinks its claws into you. Outstanding!

WOW. The intricacies of this story and the various story lines wove together seamlessly. Everything I thought I knew was incorrect & I was surprised at almost every revelation in the mystery. This story is beautiful, terrible, emotional, and a wonderful depiction of how far we are willing to go for those we love. The super short chapters made it feel like I watching a movie and kept me engaged the entire time. Incredible read.
