This book was very... meh. Actually, it was less than meh, for the most part. I did like the cooking stuff, though, and the ending was kind of action packed, so I rated it a little higher than I was originally going to due to these two things.

The book was okay.
It only felt a bit fragmented.
There wan no clear feeling of time, day and night and the same for space. Never did I get a feeling for distance or a lay-out or anything.
This gave the feeling if a story happening in a vacuum

The main character did not seem very smart, just anoying and headstrong.
It al was okay, but nothing more  than that

Overall this book was good enough to read but was not anything special. It was very redundant until the last 8-10 chapters out of 48. Most of the book was Emilia unsuccessful trying to solve something, going on a underwhelming quest with wrath, and meeting another demon. Then repeat. Which makes it sound horrible however it was good enough to keep reading and the last handful of chapters were a bit of a faster pace which made it I guess worth it. A lot of things were unanswered or just didnt go into detail when they really should have to keep things interesting. I understand some things might not have been answered right away because its a series but the book just needed to have more in certain areas and less in others. I will be reading the rest of the series I just really hope that they pick up.
