Bravo moi d’avoir trouvé le meurtrier et une des astuces
Pas un coup de coeur mais le format et l’enquête sont définitivement très intéressants

Wasn't the best so far but not the worst either! I really liked the little group of Egg, Sir Charles, Poirot and the other guy investigating.
Honestly I found Egg and Sir Charles pretty adorable but in the end I think it was pretty manipulative in both ends. Kind of romantic to kill so he could marry her but still the victim was one of his oldest friends and the fact that he tested his method on a random person? Pretty cruel. Also murdering the innocent and random Mrs. was also unfortunate.

6/2 Update for more accurate rating: 2.5 stars rounded up. Still a Christie book, so solid story, but definitely disappointing in terms of what I've come to expect from her.
---Original Review---
I'm working my way through Christie's Poirot series and this is thus far the book I've liked the least. I didn't exactly dislike it, but the story had elements reminiscent of both Peril at End House and The Murder of Roger Ackroyd while being far less entertaining and interesting than either of those stories (favorites of mine, I'll admit). It was a quick listen on audiobook, so while not the best of Christie's writing, I would say it's still worth a read/listen if you're a fan.

Well, she did it again. Not for a second did I suspect whom I should have suspected. My little grey cells, they are just not as keen as M. Poirot's.
While I appreciate Agatha Christie's efforts to tell her Poirot stories from different vantage points, I do not enjoy prolonged absences of our beloved detective in the narrative. The setup of the story was, however, very cleverly done.
