The end was predictable but I enjoyed learning all the insider workings on a top seeded tennis player.

Charlotte (or Charlie) Silver was known as the "good girl" of tennis. After Charlie suffers a horrible injury at Wimbledon, she fires her longtime coach and hires Todd Feltner, a legend of the men's tour, who is famous for coaching champions. She is his first female player and is determined to change her good-girl image into a fierce, bad-girl warrior type. Part of his plan is to play up Charlie's casual relationship with sexy Spanish player Marco, so she gains notoriety and fame.
Eventually Charlie's ascension in tennis gets to her and things sort of collapse. Marco is a jerk to her and she realizes that her hitting partner, Ben, is actually more of the man for her.
I enjoyed this book because of how tennis-focused it was. It actually went into great detail about tennis and the Grand Slams.

Likable narrator, predictable yet enjoyable plot. I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun read and I liked the focus on the game of tennis.
If you are a fan of tennis and want a solid, easy read this is a great book! Also read it while watching this year’s Wimbledon tournament.
