Mi trovo in difficoltà a scrivere questa recensione, perché sinceramente non ho letto questo libro per la trama… che poi, parliamoci chiaro, la trama non c’è. Ma andiamo con ordine, magari sarà tutto più chiaro.
I personaggi:
Lei mi è piaciuta più di altre protagoniste che ho letto, questo sicuramente. È sincera, realistica, e poi è sottona come me, quindi come potevo non apprezzarla?
Lui, invece, è il classico coniglio geneticamente modificato (passatemi il termine). Fisico da bodybuilding, muscoli su muscoli, e nel complesso il solito boss che fa i soliti ragionamenti da boss. Nulla di nuovo sotto il sole, ma ci sta.
I personaggi secondari? Carucci. Però per la trama praticamente non servono a niente, perché tanto fanno tutto i protagonisti. Non è che sia sbagliato, ma se avessero avuto un ruolo più utile non mi sarebbe dispiaciuto. Però, ecco, che aspettative posso avere da un libro di questo tipo?
Le scene:
Beh, diciamo che le scene di sesso sono tante. E con tante intendo parecchie. Ora, non sarò etero, ma onestamente alcune descrizioni non sono proprio credibili, e certe posizioni… non le ho neanche capite.
Conclusione:
Se cercate un libro con una trama praticamente inesistente ma tante scene di sesso, questo è perfetto. Alla fine mi ha intrattenuto, quindi non mi lamento troppo.

I wanted to stop reading this book so many times. It's childish and silly. The way they talk to each other is dumb. Idk how people are so crazy over this. Don't need to read anymore in the series.

I fear this was a 3.5 for me. I wanted to love it so much more. 😭 it definitely has some great elements! I just.... didn't really like how much the main characters argued for over half the book. It just felt like, but DO y'all love each other? However I will say overall it is a solid read and I get why so many people love it!! I'm excited for Tristan's book next. 💛

The Stopover is the first book in the Miles High Club series and my first book from TL Swan. This book is different to my normal reads but after reading this one I know I’ll be reading more from the author. A chance meeting when Emily gets upgraded to a first class flight to New York and she starts talking to a smouldering sexy guy. They end up being stranded together due to bad weather and they have a one night stand. Fast forward a year, a new job for Emily and the CEO is the hotty from the plane. He sends her an email asking her to meet him in his office, what does he want to discuss? ✨
This book was steamy and I couldn’t put it down. It was easy to read. The only thing I didn’t like was all the drama between the characters. I’m looking forward to reading the next book with another one of the Miles brothers. 4

Li este livro totalmente às cegas e mega influenciada por uma amiga minha que comprou o primeiro e viciou na série. Quando peguei no livro, nem sabia do que se tratava e nem sabia se iria ou não gostar. Mas meu deus… Adorei!! É um livro mega, mega engraçado e que eu recomendo a toda a gente que estiver numa Reading slump porque é tão viciante, fluído e entretém tanto que nem damos pelo tempo passar.
Basicamente, este é o primeiro volume de uma série onde seguimos os quatro irmãos Miles, todos milionários e todos completamente hilários, habituados a terem tudo o que desejam.
Nesta história, seguimos o irmão mais velho e um relacionamento de uma noite que ele tem quando o voo onde está faz uma escala. Passado um ano, adivinhem quem é nova a funcionária da empresa dele? Exato.
Para mim, o único fator que não me levou a dar 5 estrelas é mesmo não ser muito credível que a protagonista nunca tivesse visto uma foto do CEO da empresa onde, segundo ela, desejava trabalhar desde SEMPRE.
Tirando isso, adorei o livro, acho que posso mesmo classificar esta série como a mais engraçada que já li. O Jasmeson a acampar? Meu. Deus. Vivo. Para. Isso.
As personagens secundárias também não deixam nada a desejar e eu adorei a interação quer dos irmãos, quer dos amigos da Emily.

I spent the majority of this book mentally screaming at either of them and sometimes both. But it did still suck me in and I was invested in the outcome so I guess that's the aim isn't it? To make us feel?
