I loved this book as much as the first one. I was really curious about Madi because he only saw him a handful of times but damn did I love him. I also loved Az he was amazing. I loved the tension in this book. The amount of sexual tension that was radiating from my kindle was unreal. You can clearly tell that they have chemistry. From the first page to the last, you can tell that they truly care for each other.

While, you can clearly tell that they care for each other they both are stubborn as hell. And I mean it. I think Madi was a lot for hesitant for the feelings he had for Az and he always denied his feeling until the last like 30% of the book. Az and Madi both have trust issues, and from their past you tell why they didn't out right say that they liked each other. But when they announced their feeling for the first time, I screamed. They way that they care for each other with out knowing it was heart warming but not, if you know what I mean. These two people are supposed to be the most feared or known killers but they both were soft just for each other. The little moments where they become soft made my days.

I can't express how much I love these two. I think they might beat Jonah and Cas by a little sliver but Az and Madi are just superior and you can't tell me otherwise. I'm very excited for the third book because I'm going in blind, you barley and when I mean barely, I mean they barley had any dialogue. So, I'm excited because I don't know if I'm going to love these characters and I just want to jump into it now. But I'm very sad because the next is the last. Ok that's all. Totally recommend.

This gave me my favourite enemies to lovers feel, (reminded me of cut and run or heated rivalry, joy),
and the structure of it was a masterpiece, honestly didn’t know where it was going for a moment there.

Very Short Review: I was bored until I wasn't.

The first half of this novel is just the antagonism vs. attraction between the leads. I was bored. At 54% action picks up considerably, and that part's great. The epilogue's cute but, as is often the case, adds nothing. I'll read book 3 trusting that the plot will be more interesting throughout, like book 1.

i liked this one a lot and i'm so glad i finished it closer to the release for #3. not perfect, but i enjoyed the sharpness, steam, and unpredictable plot. and, i mean, i'd be a sucker for a character named azrael anyway. i would've liked to hear more details about az's process for creating his concoctions... i mean.... where the hell is his lab?

anyone know wtf motek means? my urdu must be getting rusty.

Play Dirty is a really really hot romance between two killers. The chemistry is amazing and both characters develop in a very coherent way. Enemies to lovers.
