This is a lovely story. A very sweet second chance romance with a dose of runaway bride, Darcy and Leo give a new meaning to soulmates.

The only downside to the book for me was that the switch between past and present were too often, every chapter was in a different period and I found that it made it difficult to « get into the book ».

Darby and Leo childhood summer romance. Controlling father very abusive relationship and forced marriage.
Leo has loved her for a decade and would do anything for Darby, Darby was manipulated by her father and controlled for years. She loved Leo and finally walked out of her wedding day and put herself first. Road trip and lots of soul searching and healing
Great story 2🌶️

This was my first Sarah A. Bailey book and I absolutely loved it! The dual timeline was done so well! Leo (Heathen) was so swoon worthy and I loved watching Darby (Honeysuckle) gain her strength to stand up for the life she wanted! Their love was so beautiful to read about and I was devastated when I found out why she left all those years ago! This book was an emotional roller coaster in the best way!! This book has such great tropes
-second chance romance
-small beach town
-forbidden romance
-found family
-dual timeline
-roadtrip
-good girl x bad boy
-“what letters?”

It is the perfect beach read for the summer and definitely a story I can see myself coming back to time and time again! I cannot wait for book two to see where the story goes next!

Oh how Leo Graham has a hold on me 👏🏻 Such a sweet story! The spice was perfection 🤌🏻  Being the oldest sister, who’s not always made the best choices, and at times felt like the outcast in my family, I heavily related to Dahlia (MFC sister). Also, not having the best relationship with my own father, I related to both MFC there. This story is written so beautifully and makes you FEEL like your part of it. I am SO excited for Wicked & Wildflower release!
