Daisy Haites is the second book in the Magnolia Parks series. This book follows Daisy Haites whose the sister of a notorious crime lord in London. When she ends up tangled up with Christian, another crime lord and friend to a whole slew of messy friends, she finds herself in a story she didn't think she'd be a part of.
I really enjoyed this book and flew through it when I got a chance to read it. There is something about these books that just hooks me and keeps me locked in from the beginning. Daisy is a very different character from Magnolia in the fact that she's very prickly and very aware of her surroundings. She's someone who is very stand offish with anyone who is not in her family and doesn't take things lightly considering what she had gone through.
I find it interesting how she doesn't have any close female friends. I thought the discussion of why she was like that pertaining to her past with her mother was super fascinating and I can't wait to see what's going to happen as this is part of that universe. I thought that her choice at the end was a good one and I am really interested to see what is gong to happen in the next book.
Overall, I would recommend this series if you want a dramatic and messy series. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series.
