I’m struggling with my raging because there was a lot I really loved about this book. Some outdated language & concepts were off putting.
The start of the book was rather slow /boring. It doesn't get interesting until murder 3. Amanda was a brat throughout most of the book. The things I enjoyed most was the mystery itself and the dog. I agree with some readers that state that the book could have been shorter.

I want my life back. Ugh this book was horrible. Unfortunately, I got caught up in the 'mystery' so I hate-read the entire book in order to find out what happened in the end. I threw the book straight across the room when I was done. So not worth it.
Entertaining to listen to in the car, but ridiculous to pretend that the teenage daughter of a police chief would have access to information from an open investigation of a serial killer.
The characters are what dragged me deep into this book's story. Every character felt so real i can conjure them in my mind as she describes them.
