I absolutely hated this book. I wanted to love it because it's about twins and I have twins but it was just so annoying.

As a twin mom the whole "I couldn't tell them apart" thing was annoying AF. A mother KNOWS IDC how identical, but then the author explained it as an extreme rare case & I was like alright that could happen but then there were just too many "extremely rare" things happening to the same family like be so for real.

It was just all over the place honestly nothing made sense or came together well.

Not a scary as everyone says, but a gripping story non-the-less.

Whatever I said or felt about this book initially, I take it all back.

I went looking for new reading material because I was bored with my usual, and I picked this up because it looked interesting and something out of the ordinary. As I began reading, I started expecting a lame take on the "Mistaken Identity" trope. I was also miffed beacuse I felt that the author didn't differentiate enough between the POV's personalities, although I'm starting to think that's purposeful.

I love being mistaken.

This book is not at all what it seems, and it never gives you anything to really hold on to, right up until the end. The narrative is first person and switching between two characthers telling their two very different sides of the same story, which keeps the reader on their toes throughout. The characters are messed up, and are trying to mess the reader up as well.

I love it.

Um thriller, que para mim de thriller tinha muito pouco, mas o qual gostei por ser tão “fora da caixa”.

Com alguns elementos de terror é uma leitura ideal para a altura do Halloween.

I loved this!!

It's just the right amount of creepy, mixed with twists and mystery!

I didn't find any of the characters particularly likeable, even the twins. But I liked that I didn't always know where it was going. Well worth a read!

Be prepared to be haunted, terrified and chilled to the bone.

This is the story of Angus and Sarah Moorcroft and their identical twin daughters Lydia and Kirstie. A year after Lydia dies in a tragic accident the family move to a tiny Scottish island. Can they pull together the broken pieces of their hearts and their lives and learn to live again?

This is where the horror begins.

You will tentatively turn each page, desperate to know what is going to happen, but terrified to find out! The thoughts will be thrashing around inside your head, confusing you, convincing you of you what is around the next corner only to cackle wickedly when you get it completely wrong.

I read this book in a couple of days although there were times I had to physically put it down as as I could feel the darkness seeping out of the pages, chilling my blood.

Come read with us...
