For the second book in this series, I again have to give a 3.5 stars. I’m not going to in depth, as everyone has said exactly what I think. Honestly, it was a good book if you don’t take it too seriously and judge it too hard. The romance was lacking, and Legion got on my nerves SO. BAD. until the very end of the book. The writing was the same as the first book—awkward and weird. There were many times where I needed to go back and read paragraphs again to understand what was happening due to characters and events occurring randomly. Lastly, it was VERY predictable. I’m giving three stars for keeping my attention and half a star for enjoying my read. If you’re really intense about the writing being perfect, then this book isn’t for you.

Book 2 of the broken Kingdoms did not disappoint! A curse is broken, the true king revealed, more secrets, more battles, more betrayal. We get 2 perspectives in this story; Elise and The Night Prince.

This follow up to book one was exciting and confusing. I like the direction the plot is going but I spent a lot of time confused about the dynamic between Elise and Valen. The action and reveals were enough to keep my heart beating out of my chest but I sure hope the romance kicks up in the next installment.

3.5⭐️ i just needed a little more balance of good things happening versus the not good/frustrating parts. I still enjoyed it quite a bit, I mean…I read the whole thing in one day if that tells you anything. And I’m definitely still invested enough in the story to continue with the series.
