7/10, this book was honestly my least favorite of the trilogy. While the premise had immense potential, it built up to a climax far less exciting or endangering as it seemed, and everything became rapidly resolved without any actual resolution. I did enjoy a lot of the new characters we were introduced to, but I felt like they had so much more potential than was ever explored, and we only got to see hints of it flushed out. In addition, the sexist undertones and dynamics that frustrated me in Of Poseidon resumed and highly decreased the quality of the book for me.

This book was disappointing.

I loved the first two books of The Syrena Legacy and hoped that this one would have been just as good to me. Hoo boy was I let down. As far as books go, yeah it would be fine if it was a stand alone. This book just doesn't read like the last book in a trilogy--it reads like a novella.

This book adds very little to the series. Yes, the ending clears up some of the law issues in the kingdoms and whatever, but it could have been done so differently. It has all the tropes of a Wattpad book written by a middle schooler. Not that I'm hating--I loved Wattpad back in the day. I just expected more from a published book.

I absolutely detested Reed for 99% of the book. I only liked him at the very end when he was somewhat useful. This guy creeped me the heck out. The feeling I had in my gut anytime he moved in on Emma reminded me of the feeling I get when a creepy patron at my job talks to me too much. The fact that Emma wasn't getting that feeling was maddening. How could she want to continue to hang out with him when he was constantly pressuring her to 1) make out with him, 2) choose between him and Galen, and 3) freaking make out with him. Yes, Galen is gone for a majority of the book, but she so obviously isn't into you so stop pressuring her, you creep. You don't just move in on someone in a relationship like that especially when he's right there. The lack of respect for the relationship ticked me off. I started liking him when he was with Galen at the end. That's it.

It was sincerely difficult to finish this book. I nearly tried to convince myself that it was just a novella so I didn't have to finish it. But I did and it was honestly quite a chore.

I absolutely loved the first two books and I thought the end of the second was great. I got so excited when I saw there was a third one because I didn't want Galen and Emma's story to end. But I did not like how it seemed to be heading into a love triangle very fast. I was very annoyed with Emma through the entire book and hated how unconcerned she was up until the last few chapters of the book.
In the end it ended how I wanted it to and there was some pretty good action scenes, but it definitely was not my favorite book in the trilogy.

Fantastic ending to a fantastic story

To start off I wanted to say that I really enjoyed the first book of this series. I’m pretty sure I rated it 5 stars. The second book, however, I didn’t enjoy at all. I think I rated it 2 stars. This book, Of Neptune, I did enjoy most of it. It definitely was more interesting than the second book, but it wasn’t as compelling as the first. Here’s my reasoning:
1. I was excited for the love triangle. I think Galen and Emma were getting boring. I think the love triangle was good, but could’ve been done better. I wasn’t interested in Reed at all, didn’t find his insta love realistic and didn’t find that they had any chemistry whatsoever.
2. The pacing was strange. It felt like a long time had passed, but really the whole story takes place over like a week.
3. The plot was boring. I would’ve liked Galen and Emma to spend more time in Neptune together before Galen disappears for the whole book. And then when he’s gone, every second chapter we have to listen to the same thing over and over again. And honestly, I was slightly disturbed and felt so bad for him to be tortured for days on end.
4. The stakes never felt high. Things just seem to be too easy for everyone. I wasn’t worried about anything. And everything was just wrapped up in a tiny little bow.
Overall, I did enjoy reading this book mostly but towards the end I really just wanted it to finish. I started skimming just to get it over with. But at the end of the day, I did like this series. I probably wouldn’t read it again or recommend it tho.

I loved this series so much I'm so happy with the out come of this book

It was good, but it wasn't necessary to add this book to the Syrena Legacy. A duology would have been just fine.

This series is such a guilty pleasure of mine. 10/10 would recommend.

I didn't thought that there will be a 3rd book, but here it is!

It was fun to read. As usual, Anna Banks has good writing style. I love the humor. I like the conversations and the characters. It is sad that the story is ending.

I do have little problems with it. Such as characters having information which in no means they have acquired during conversations (how did they know?), some unclear circumstances (what happened to the villain?) and confusing actions (why did he/she do that?)

The main characters are frustrating. They are having problems and doubts about their relationship which is good because it made them realistic. I like how the characters are not so stubborn because it made me feel that the conflict was not drawn out.

I'm disappointed at the ending. I feel that it fell short, like it ended abruptly. I think it can be greatly improved by the author.
