The ill-fitting name aside, this book was well worth the time. It's a short and very highlightable summary of some key habits for getting from product idea to customers, via semi-formal interviewing. It crystallized for me a lot of things I've already learned or picked up elsewhere in my years of product development, but in a short and sweet way, along with a few ideas and rules of thumb that were new to me.

If you're founding a startup or otherwise playing with a new product idea, give this one a read.

Really good insight into a better questioning process. Not as helpful if you're not reading it as a start-up founder, since the second part of it focuses more on the sales process and working in a start up in general, but some really good learning on the whole.

Even though most of it didn’t apply to me, I still got a lot out of the bits that did. I’m sure it’s even more helpful for someone trying to start a business.

Easy and quick read. I like the overall theme, which is essentially don't ask if your idea is good, but rather ask questions (without pitching) to gain clear data. I found it a tad repetitive at times, but all in all a good book.

If you're looking to learn how to talk to customers, especially from a start-up perspective, it's a great book. If you are looking for a riveting book, it's mid.
