A worldly middle aged man in a naive monster is an interesting premise.  I'm curious to see where Renji takes it.  I want Liam to develop feelings of course, because I love the trope of someone who thinks they won't be caught by feelings and falls victim to them anyway.  I'm also curious to know more about Liam's past.

This manga is something man. Listen if you want a story about a man that is not good, and a monster that is sweet and likes a shitty dude here you go.

Liam is so incredibly horny(seriously he flirts with everyone and they all fall head over heels.) and this is very wish-fulfillment on the author's end.

Saying that I am definitely gonna read the next one this series is kind of trash, but the kind of trash that I will read because it's tempting.

I devoured the first volume and I'm trying to pace myself and not immediately devour the next two. Tomorrow, at least. 5 stars for Cavo, -1 star for Liam.

Right away I really love Cavo. What a sweetie. I love his hair, love his curiosity, and would love to give him a big cuddly hug because he could really use one. I've love to be his friend and show him the world and travel with him and hang out in the forest or wherever and just provide unconditional love that doesn't see him as a terrible monster.

I'm not sure about Liam yet. Jury's still out since by the end of this volume, it's still a mystery on what exactly is Liam's deal. Why are people after him? What did he do? Why is he a beast? Why is everyone charmed by him? Does he murder people ? Steal their memories? Working with some kind of forbidden magic? Or is he just sexually ravenous? I also of course don't care for the way he treats Cavo at times but I can't tell if it's because he's genuinely a cold-hearted self-serving twat or he's aromantic or what.

I'm a little anxious to read volume 2 with that in mind. I've only known Cavo for one volume but if anything happens to him, I'm tearing Liam apart and cursing the author/artist.

Maybe a 2.5. *sigh* I'm not sure how I feel. Cavo is adorable but the plot so far... ehh

*"doubt" meme here*

This follows Cavo, a large demon living in the forest that is feared and described as ugly. He has little contact with the outside and human world, until he hears a struggle and rescues Liam, a middle-aged man with a mysterious past and agenda and the strongest libido you have ever seen. He also has a wicked streak worthy of being called a beast. Cavo isn't really feeling that, so Liam tones it down, but his gentleness and kindness stirs feelings Cavo has never experienced before.

So, this kinda seems like it could be good, but I am concerned where a set-up like this will go... we'll see!

4☆
Warnings for attempted rape looking scene (it's revealed that it was just a robbery, but it doesn't look... great), bi/pan people as sex-addicted/attracted to anyone stereotype (it's presented more like a personal choice, but the character is the only bi/pan person we know so it seems to feed into that stereotype a bit)
