Sooooooo slow. Everything must be infused with BIG MEANING. The idea is intriguing, but the writing is putting me off.

In all reality I think my feelings on this book could be encapsulated in Adam's line "you were never a means to an end to me" because like.... why not? You didn't know this woman before all this started. Let her be a means to an end and let there be tension and mess with that knowledge when you fall in love! That's cinema babey!
