I really loved this one! The depth of the characters and the strength of the women was perfect. The way that Adam was written as seemingly strong on the outside, but with an insight and heart that every woman would kill to have in their lives. It was a true adventure mixed with great romance and I really liked it. It makes me want to read more by this author.

Quick Summary: A contemporary, twisted family fiction novel
My Review: The Other Side of Disappearing by Kate Clayborn is a 2024 women's fiction release. It blends mystery and romance.
About the Book: "Jess Greene has spent the last decade raising her younger half-sister, Tegan—and keeping a shocking secret.
Jess didn't bargain on Tegan eventually piecing together the connection for herself.
...accompanied by the prying podcast host and her watchful, handsome producer...
Together, the four make their way across the country, unraveling the mystery of where the couple disappeared to and why."
In My Own Words: A betrayal. A mystery. A podcast. A pilgrimage of discovery. An unfolding. A choice. An experience.
My Final Say: This novel took my breath away. It was a baptism in tragedy that reaped growth, acceptance, and liberation on so many levels for each of the main characters who were featured. I loved how the author presented Jess, Tegan, Salem, and Adam. They all had tragedy in their life stories. They all had to face themselves and their issues head on. The figurative and literal journey they went on aided them in finding the path that would ultimately lead to their freedom. The end of the quest that they were on proved to be sad, but it also depicted a deliverance. They all proved to be brave when it really mattered.
Other: Readers who enjoy family drama, podcast mysteries, and stories of love & healing in the face of trauma, dysfunction, and loss will love this novel.

Cute book but the mystery/podcast part of the plot was meh for me. I stopped caring about the mom’s story before 50%
