At her mom’s urging, Alex retreats to her parents’ secluded vacation home for a few days of peace—and maybe a little escape from real life. At the same time, her dad sends Elijah, his best friend and longtime coworker, to the same house for some much-needed R&R. Neither one knows the other is there… until Elijah walks in and finds Alex in the kitchen, wearing nothing but an apron—and looking sinfully good.

The sparks? Instant. The chemistry? Off-the-charts explosive. These two bring the heat in every possible way, and trust me, it is deliciously intense.

Victoria Connolly and Grayson Owen narrate this steamy novella to absolute perfection—you’ll be hooked from the first word.

It was a quick novella, that seemed to be wrapped up perfectly within it. It was face paced, basically a weekend plus the epilogue. I don't want to give any spoilers so I won't get into it too much.
If you like instant chemistry, extra spice, age gap, dad's best friend and employee, with some role play then you'll enjoy this.
