Exactly what I wanted from this. Short and very spicy. Loved it.

SYNOPSIS:

Trying to get away for the weekend, Alexandra goes to her families lake house. What she doesn’t know, though, is her dad friend and employee was also promised the lake house for the weekend. They try to avoid the sexual tension between them, they know it’s a bad idea, but they do it anyway. They roleplay being husband and wife for the weekend, and when their time is up, Alex tries to ask if they’d be able to make it work but Elijah shuts her down. A month passes, and at her dad’s award ceremony for work, she sees Elijah again. Her stepmom catches on to the tension between the two of them and encourage them to talk. They do and admit they love each other and don’t want to be apart. They agree to tell her dad, but then he catches them and is angry. But he’s talked down and says he just needs some time. The epilogue shows a year later where they are happily for real married.

Great, spicy, fast paced novella. Loved the chemistry between Alex and Elijah. The relatively low angst made this an extra enjoyable read

I love a spicy novella that gets right to the point and with a “sure let’s do this premise.” Sure - we’re both mistakenly at my family’s lake house so let’s spend ONE WEEKEND TOGETHER.

He of course falls MADLY in love cause clearly she’s amazing and all the woman he could ever want/need.

We get different locations/positions/new kinks to discover.

Working my way through Kayla Grosse’ oeuvre and this was a win!

‘… and I’m hit with the realization I agreed to be in a hot tub with the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.’
