I wanted a light pallet cleanser after a pretty hefty fantasy read and this met the brief perfectly.
I have no doubt i will forget every single part of this book within a few days tops but i don't particularly give a shit because i had fun in the moment.

Well that was a fun quick lil read. Apparently our FMC's parents don't check in with one another because each offers the beach house to our FMC and MMC without the other knowing. While the two could have gone their separate ways, or just not really interacted in this huge ass house - that obviously wasn't going to happen.
The two decide to play house for the weekend, and both fall fast and hard. I did really appreciate the open and honest communication between the two of them while they were there. Both laying out their wants and expectations. They definitely shoulda chatted more before the weekend was up, but whatcha gunna do.
