Elijah works too much so he gets shipped away to a cabin by his good. Alex needs a break after a long work year so her mom sends her away. What she don’t know is her dad Elijahs boss sent them to the same cabin. It was just for a weekend right?

Truly love me some Kayla books, she writes the best short spicy books! Now there was one thing in here that just gave me the ick, but it was truly personal. However, I loved the forbidden , age gap vibes we got throughout the whole story. Although Kayla says it alot of spice, and it was don’t get me wrong. I personally feel we got the perfect amount of plot as well. It gives you just enough of both to fall in love with both characters and learn about them. I loved this quick read in one day book!

Fun insta-attraction/insta-love novella. A reasonable age gap and a heroine that took control of what she wanted. I wanted a little more out of our hero, but you can’t expect a ton of growth in a 160 novella. It would be cool to see these two in a full length novel to see that growth and to see the heroine continue to flourish in a healthy relationship.

I loved everything about this little novella! Alex and Elijah know each other through her dad, they both end up at the family lake house at the same time, and decide to just give in to their attraction to one another. Everything is so sweet when they start to play house (love every time he calls her wife!) but also the spice is so spicy and delicious. The hot tub scene, amazing, they defile a beach, also big shout out to the stepmom. I really loved how everything ended up in the end.
