4.5 - believe the hype:

While I didn’t love the ending & it’s not getting 5 stars from me, this is the Colleen Hoover writing I expected from the hype. I read Ugly Love & Verity but neither of them were as good as this imo. The letters to Ellen were probably my favorite part of the book & I think the characters had a lot of depth. Flew right through this

Romance/mystery. Truly wish I could read this book again for the first time. The plot twist had me BROKEN. A beautiful novel on love, friendship, trauma, and self-worth over multiple timelines. And spice!! Honestly it’s so popular for a reason.
