A classic that I read as teenager. The attention to detail really immerses the reader in the story. I felt sad at times and joyous at times. In that respect the book achieved its goal of connecting the reader to the trajectory of another man. I should to ably read it again now as an adult.

It took me forever to get through this book because I found Robinson Crusoe the character to be such a jackass. And not in an entertaining way.

I liked the aspects of having to survive just by himself although it seemed a bit oversimplified at times. I did not care for the religious aspects or him interacting with others.
