I'm a huge, huge fan of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, so I was expecting this book to be witty and hilarious. And it was! But it was also surprisingly deep and profound at moments, and unflinchingly raw and honest in others, and never shied away from the more real and gross moments of life (there was a whole lot more poop in this book than anticipated), which is another thing that Crazy Ex-Girlfriend does so well in its quieter moments. Basically, if you love that show, you'll love this, end of. Also I now have "Let's Generalize About Men" stuck in my head and have for several hours. (Why is it always "Let's Generalize About Men" that gets stuck in my head? Um, because it's FLAWLESS????)

Not your conventional memoir-esque book, but I expected nothing less from Rachel Bloom

Listened to the audiobook, which I definitely recommend. Unsurprisingly, Rachel Bloom is a lot, and that is well represented here, but that only adds to the experience.

I want to be where the Rachel Bloom is, creatively speaking, so this book was both very informative and very relatable. Also? Funny! (P.S. Rachel, you have talent.)

Amazing. More Rachel Bloom, please. A rare treat to read along while listening. Both formats are worth it.
