I LOVED the first two House Witch books. But author Delemhach is now writing too fast, sadly, madly cranking 'em out for the money, as so many authors do. This third book was distracting because of its numerous grammatical errors. More to the point, although protagonist Fin Ashowan continues to shine, the tone of the first books darkens considerably in the third, diminishing a good deal of the story's charm.
Hopefully, Fin's next generation can return to the high standards and best humor of the first two novels.

Von diesem 3. Band war ich leider sehr enttäuscht. Es war mir zu dunkel, und zu abenteuerlich. Die Cozy Vibes aus dem ersten Buch haben gänzlich gefehlt.

A lovely end to the trilogy, although the adventure seems to continue so there is even more to look forward to! In the third house witch book, the war has finally arrived with additional complications for the House Witch and his new family. Fin continues to be his charming self, Anika is fiery and sweet, and Hannah is amazing as usual lol. Also the narrator fixed Kraken’s voice so it was better in this book 😅
Big spoiler about why I took 0.75 off my rating: dude I shipped the captain and Fin’s mom so hard. I’m literally so mad about it, and like I waited for chapters afterwards for them to be like “psych!” But they didn’t. And so now I am sad.
