This was an enjoyable series. I liked the characters and the writing was very good. The jokes were sometimes corny and sometimes out of place but it never bumped me out of the story.

Kraken was the saving grace of this installment. The first half of book 3 was, in my opinion, boring and redundant, made up with some excitement in the second half. The epilogues were rushed & abrupt. I *think* I want to read about the Princess but I need some time off from this series, so we’ll see if that happens…
