Good adaptation of a great book I haven't read in a long time and had nearly forgotten, the worst of fates within the world the book creates

I didn't go into this with high expectations, but I haven't read the original in quite some time. This graphic novel adaptation really does it justice and reminded me of how powerful this book is!

I read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury last month and I really enjoyed it. I wanted to re-read it and then I came across this illustrated adaptation, by Tim Hamilton. The art was fitted in my opinion to the story and I really enjoyed the introduction by Ray Bradbury, which explained some of his thoughts and inspirations writting Fahrenheit 451.
Having read the book recently, I believe it was a good and faithful adaptation, of course the book is more detailed but still I don't believe it lacked a major part of the storyline. I would recommend reading this comic but also the original book, I truly believe they complement each other.

I read F451 in HS and was incensed because of course burning books was a bad thing, and of course saving books should be done. Montag was a hero to me for saving books even though his job was to burn them. This adaptation was fantastic.
I love Bradbury's language so much that I expected to be disappointed by the comic. I wasn't. I read it through and then went through it again just looking at the pictures. Beautiful and moving. Highly recommended.
