I read the original Fahrenheit 451 in high school, and I appreciate that this graphic novel does not dumb down the themes, the dialogue, or the literary quotes found in the original book. Some graphic novel abridgments read more like children's books, but this adaptation felt incredibly similar to the original. I do feel that the graphic format is helpful for many learners. Every once in a while I found the layout a little disjointed or difficult to follow, but for the most part, I enjoyed reading this classic again in a new, engaging format.

Erm ngl this whole book flew right over my head. For it to be a graphic novel there were WAY too many words. I don’t think it’s fair for me to rate it since I didn’t understand the plot.
