This book was kind of confusing, and maybe that's because I read the graphic novel version. I loved the ideas in this book though. It's chock full of them. What would happen if everyone just stopped reading?! What if everyone just went along with the majority? What if no one ever read Shakespeare again, or Jane Austen??? Omg I would die. I really want to read the full on book now to see if I get even more out of the novel :)

Adds nothing to the classic; if it ain’t broke, etc etc

How to get my teen to read? This authorized adaptation was aesthetically, beautiful. I really enjoyed revisiting a classic in new formats.

Ray Bradburry’s introduction was my favorite part and I enjoyed reading his advice to young readers to “not intellectuallize or be self conscious…let metaphors race as fast and furious and freely.”

What book would I want to most memorize and protect from the firemen?

Althought great art, the lack of female characters and black people bothered me.

Loved this graphic novel. Just as good as the original version, just less content. Maybe readers who read this graphic novel will like it enough to go back and read the original too.

Fahrenheit 451 was one of my favorites in high school, and still is. This is the graphic novel adaption of it, and I liked the visuals used in this. It’s not exactly my favorite art style, but I still enjoyed it! This is a great way to read a classic book without reading the original and having to work through language from the 1950s, which is when the original novel was first written.

Good graphic novel representation of a Great dystopian novel.
