I wanted to like this but I think the graphic novel adaptation didn’t work. The book didn’t make sense, as if whole panels were omitted. I only finished it because, as a graphic novel, it was quick.

English class kills every book I read because of having to analyze for a grade. But when I reread it just for fun, I have to say, I loved this adaptation. This book was beautiful in so many ways. And I think the art adds something that the original book lacked. Beautiful story, beautiful art. Beautiful book.

A good graphic adaptation but I think I prefer the original

"I'd like to take an amazing book and turn it into a lackluster graphic novel."

"Perfect! I have just the book. But first, you'll have to promise me the art will be really dark and unappealing."

"Done! Also, would it be cool if I shortened everything and got rid of a lot of the character development?"

"I liked that sentence so much it was like an angelic chorus sang it to me!"

Interesting artwork that communicates Bradbury' story!

This was the first time I read a graphic novel after reading the original book. I enjoyed how it could be read much faster but I think a lot of detail and thought tends to be lost when transitioning the story. That being said, I still enjoyed the graphic novel version. However I think I'm going to stick with the actual novels. It was a nice way to do a quick reread of the the story though.

This graphic novel does the book complete justice. Amazing book to read and was amazing book to look at.

Virkelig god fortolkning og smukt tegnet!

I liked this about the same as I liked the actual novel. The art is nice but it didn't really do anything to enhance the story for me.
