Fantastic investigate journalism that gives such a great look at the corruptness in the police. There are A LOT of names, you need like a diagram to keep up.

This book was well written, though it was very depressing.  It’s not the type of true crime that focuses on the victims’ lives or the drama in a courtroom. Ethan Brown instead focuses on the deep corruption within law enforcement in Jefferson Davis Parish.

If you’re wanting a book that has a satisfying conclusion where the bad guys are put away, this isn’t where you should look.

I think it was a good book but I feel like it jumped all over the place. Sometimes it was hard to follow along. I enjoyed reading it and it makes me want to look into the case more.
