love him. love everything about him. i was soooo excited to finally see more of him and get in his head. what a great character.

is such a fuckwad. i didn’t super love him in the first book but he had some redeeming qualities. this one though? idk man. nothing has endeared me to him. even

is better, and his whole personality is being fat and stupid (which is sincerely lame character development). and thane barely had anything new happen with him? and plague??? my fave? i feel like we didn’t learn a whole lot about him until the very end for like 2.5 paragraphs.

idk what it is about this series (probably the pacing of it all) but there is very little character development aside from smut and a really fun plot. i’m hoping book 3 is even better since wraith is on the cover <3

There was just so much that was happening. This book felt like when you're playing a game and decide to completely ignore the main plot, and do a bunch of side quests. Everything is still attached to the main plot, but you don't NEED to do the side quests. It was still entertaining, but it was just so long. I feel like this book could have condensed a LOT. Do I love the ghost boys yeah, does Ivy make me laugh when she's being feisty yeah, is the spicy fun, yeah. Will I read the next book, probably, but man it better get back on track because it's giving fanfiction.
