I know everyone ages backward in Elsewhere, but it was still very strange to see Owen (with the maturity of a twenty-something year old) fall in love with a sixteen year old girl. It felt predatory.
One star because I’m pretty sure the author is a Zionist… in reality I do think I would’ve given it 2.5 stars.

This is the second book I've read by Gabrielle Zevin and it is the second time I'm amazed by her capability to insert almost every genre into one book and to make a book without a main goal and still make it addictive and interesting. The writing and the plot are amazing, and I can't wait to read more by her. Haven't stopped thinking of tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow, the first book I read by her, since I first picked it up and up until now, almost exactly 2 years later (and I don't think I'll stop thinking about it any time soon) and I predict there's a high probability it will happen with this book too.

Beautiful beautiful book! MC has some frustrating moments, but I guess that's part of 'life' :D

a quick and easy read that explores a comforting conception of an afterlife. i love the way zevin’s writing draws me into her stories.

Such an interesting little read! This was a heartbreaking and heartwarming story about love and loss, and a unique take on the after life. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
