feeling many things after this one but definitely not my favorite.

this was a weird back and forth of absolutely heartbreaking moments and chapters in conjunction with some really great character development for each of the seven - also probably what made the book so very long.

as horrible as they were i loved reading the percy + annabeth chapters in tartarus especially the way tartarus was depicted; it was hard not to feel the despair along with them. obviously nico is a standout character in this one - hoping for his happy ending.

and strangely leo has come to be one of my favorites; he really deserves more.

This was one of my favourites in the Percy Jackson universe. I will say that there was almost to many pov’s in this book but it worked for the most part.

This was my favorite book and will be if BoO doesn’t blow me out of the water. (it has to if it wants to beat this book.) all the characters just equally grew and learned. I love reading character development and I think we got a lot of that in this book. I was never bored with the story and found each obstacle either entertaining, heart wrenching, or all in one. 5/5 stars
