Well - I gobbled this up all in one day. A satisfying ending to the series, and I suspect I might suffer from a book hangover having made my last visit to Morganville. I'm not too sad though. I was starting to dislike characters I really think Caine wanted me to like (looking at you in particular, Shane).

Amazing, what an ending. There really is a lot that happens in this book. We see the Humans at their strongest, the Vampires at their weekest and a tyrant who is the worst kind of evil. The bad guy in this is one of the worst kinds of evil, the type of smarmy charismatic people who can commit any sin claiming that it is for the greater good. Myrnin is as always amazing though I am sad we didnt get more of him. The endings for all the remaining members of the glass house are perfect. So much happened in this series and it is well worth a read. I would reccomend this book to anyone who enjoys teen vamp books and I 100% would read this series again.

What can I say?...these books were everything I want in a good series. So funny, making me laugh out loud; romantic, giving me chills; thrilling, making me turn pages one right after the other; and heartbreakingly sad and poignant, making me outwardly cry. I cannot begin to describe how wonderful these books are and how grieved I am that they're over. However, I am wonderfully satisfied with how it ended.

Wow, it's really over. It's hard to believe, that after so many books, it's over.

I've really loved getting to know Claire, Eve, Michael and Shane. There's a whole additional cast you get to know, but I really love these 4.
this last book is pretty amazing. There are some crazy things that happen - but I mean, c'mon - it's Morganville. Of course there's craziness.

It was worth every moment of reading it. Loved the series.

A fantastic ending to the series. I couldn't put it down and loved how everything turned out. Caine has created such a vibrant, strong female character in Claire. She started the series completely in her head but now her fierce intelligence is combined with physical and emotional strength. I've always appreciated that Claire never apologized for her IQ and that many of the characters appreciated her for her smarts. She shines in this book but so do all of our main characters. The story is fast paced and a nice balance between action and emotional weight. I'll miss the series but was completely satisfied at the conclusion. A much better option to go out on a high note than run on just too long.
