I enjoyed this a lot more than book 1. Is it the greatest writing I’ve read? No - if I have to read “hells spells” or “goddess!” another time my eyes will get stuck rolling. But that’s just me being annoyed. Can’t wait to sink into book 3.

OMG! Still riding my after book high with this one and I finished it at 130 in the morning to the detriment of my sleep. Usually the second book in a series is not my favorite. HP, HG, my own Ampersand Series. But this one didn’t fall flat. After Vi, I was incredibly annoyed that I started a series that was brand new and had to wait FOREVER for the next one and then we got to see Rose come into all of her pink bad @$$ Witchery and now I just realized the color of their magic matches their name! Going in, I wondered if we’d see Rose still kicking butt or in the fallout of an unplanned life, but we kinda joined into the “in-progress” version and it was worth the ride.

Now to be completely book hungover until the next one comes out… or I pull another book from my TBR.
