These aren't super well written, but I enjoy the universe.
2.5⭐️Rose, no longer the Prima for the Supernatural Council since her sisters powers became apparent, is finding where she fits in and still dodging her mother arranging her bond. While escaping a suitor situation, she runs into a half demon she has a one night stand with, Damion.
This book had a slow beginning for me, and for a little bit it was entertaining but there were a lot of cringy parts: Mr. Wiggles as a vibrator name? calling her mother by her first name… Why do they all do that? Rose calling Damion doc? Hoping the look she gave was sexy to him, vs constipated? It goes on and on and on.
The vet clinic got left out of the story for a big portion of the book which was confusing bc it was a big part of the story and then it came back again. There were some sweet and semi hot parts and the ending was cute, but after this one it makes me wonder if I’ll read the next sister witch book.
**Warning: animal neglect**
Worth the read?: NO
Reread?: NO

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the eARC of Not Your Ex's Hexes!
Not Your Ex's Hexes is absolutely hilarious and romantic! It was so exciting to read about Rose and the extremely hot and tantalizing Dr. Demon. Not only does April Asher make you laugh out loud with her hilarious puns and chapter titles, she makes you swoon for the bad boy with the good heart. Also- who doesn't love a strong and independent female main character? Rose is the epitome of a kindhearted badass- she's so incredibly relatable too! I am absolutely looking forward to continuing to read anything April Asher writes (Me, looking at April, begging for Olive and Harper to get their HEA!).
