Not Your Ex's Hexes is by April Asher is the second book in the Supernatural Singles series and continues to follow the lives od the witchy Maxwell sisters.
Like book one, book two has what felt to me like too much "spicy." Still, those parts are easy to skip. Since they don't help the story at all, and really feel unnecessary to begin with, nothing is lost by skipping them. It also has some eyeroll worthy, teenager-esque references to body parts and sex, but thankfully there is less of that than there was in the first book.
Unlike book two, the plot feels more fully formed and the still-cozy characters feel more dimensional. The story is compelling and makes for a fun autumn/Halloween read and I am glad I picked this second installment up.
