Probably my favourite of the entire series because the pining and pure carnal desire between the main characters was so compelling. I also really love how Rose got her “redemption” arc and took life back into her control. Very inspiring!

This was again a very fun read. I loved reading about Rose trying to find herself after stepping down from her political position, and seeing her interact with the animals at the sanctuary and finding her place in the world was very endearing. I also really liked Damian, I thought his character was very well written, but I wish I would have seen more resolution of the conflict between him and his brother. Overall this was a fun rom-com read, and the supernatural characters in it are perfect for fall.

DNF. So the triplets decide to liberate several ailing horses from a facility. But they don't know much about horses and they haven't done any research on the facility. Certainly not enough to realize that it's a sanctuary/vet practice. Along with the fact that I didn't seem to care about Rose, and idiocy of that setup for a story, I figured it was time to release the book back to the library and walk away.

Grumpy sunshine trope to the max on this one! Rose and Damian had so much sass, spice, and even made me squeal once or twice. An animal sanctuary, magical exes for both of our MCs, and plenty of wit! This was another enjoyable and quick read.
I look forward to reading about the third Maxwell triplet in the next book soon!
