If The Housemaid Is Watching were a TV show, it’d be the rerun you groan at but accidentally watch because the remote’s too far away. It’s basically the exact same plot as book one — just swap out the side characters, slap on a new title, and call it a day. Every “twist” is recycled, every moment of suspense is predictable, and the déjà vu is so strong I started checking to see if my Kindle had glitched and re-downloaded the first book. At this point, Freida could write The Housemaid Bakes a Cake and it would still follow the same tired formula.
I’m just praying The Boyfriend and The Locked Door don’t suffer the same fate.

I was having fun just reading the daily life drama for the family as I fell in love with the couple over the last two books.
But when i know who the murderer was it was absolutely ridiculous!
If Martha had it in her to kill someone why wouldn't she kill her abusive husband! Also she didn't know about the room and his victim years ago! That doesn't make sense to me at all!
I didn't get Suzette's perspective, was she actually flirting with Enzo ?and then decided to blame him for the murder as it was either convenient or she believed it. Or was she really innocent and thought he was obsessed with her!

When you are certain you know who dun it but then you’re corrected multiple times before the epilogue it’s a great read!
