This was a stunning follow up to The Love of My Next Life.
Coming back to Macon and Lennon I was immediately back into their lives, their art and their hot attraction to each other. Soulmates is all I can say.
This one really tugs at the heart strings - there are so many upsets this pair have to go through and I loved their banter and clear enjoyment of each other.
Angsty throughout it puts your heart through the wringer and I willed them to sort things out and recover from the traumas they have both experienced.
I need time to consider my thoughts on this one but I’ll be looking for more Brit Benson books soon.
As a duet I would recommend for a wonderful, angsty, beautifully captured romance.

Loved this
The much-needed second half of Macon and Lennon’s story. This gave a great sense of completion and showed how *most* of the characters had grown. I was proud of what both achieved separately. It was a beautiful duet and I’m sure I’ll be reading it again.
