The Book of Two Ways

I couldn’t get into it.  It just seemed to drag on

3.5

Too sad

Wasn’t interested in the Egypt storyline. Felt more like a textbook than a story

I found this book to be informational while spinning a love story. Definitely interesting and glad I read it.

Confusingly meh.

I’m a huge Jodi P fan normally. It has never taken me this long to read one of her books (I have read them all, some 2x). I think the story was good but there was waaaayy too much Egyptology. The timeline was very confusing too. And I missed her usual convention of multiple narrators. All in all, just ok. And that disappoints me bc usually I love what she writes!!

I grew up wanting to be an Egyptologist, so I may be biased.
